FAQ
What does Von Ryan's Leaper do?
Auroch says it can rear up and pounce over enemies toward the player. The September announcement identifies it as an enemy that players of the earlier Demo had already faced.
Can Bloodcrusher charges be dodged?
The developer describes the charge as telegraphed, giving the player time to move out of its way or stop the enemy. The preview does not give a numerical reaction window.
Why is the Ratling Gunner dangerous?
It fires a hail of bullets while moving across the screen, creating damaging hazard zones that can box the player in.
What does the Bell of Doom do?
The official Steam announcement says it bolsters nearby Skaven with Warded, making them tougher. The video recommends destroying the bell, without specifying its health or the ward's numerical strength.
How do Acolyte Globadiers threaten the player?
They throw toxic globes that create clouds of noxious fumes. The official announcement says those clouds can poison the player.
Which enemy skills does the official video demonstrate?
The preview demonstrates a pounce, a telegraphed charge, moving gunfire, a warding support spell, and toxic globes. Each changes what to watch during an encounter. Use the checkpoints below to recognize the cue and its consequence; weapon damage, cooldowns, exact timings, and a complete enemy catalogue are outside the video’s scope.
Source: Auroch Digital, Feature Focus: Enemy Skills, September 3, 2026, with the official Steam text. The developer refers to Von Ryan’s Leaper in the earlier Demo. The other examples are pre-release feature demonstrations, with no independently tested October Demo or release-build claim here. Original diagrams explain the examples; the source embed supplies game footage.

What should I watch during each attack?
1. Read the wind-up before a pounce or charge
Von Ryan's Leaper can rear up and leap over other enemies toward the player. Auroch then shows a Blades of Khorne Bloodcrusher using a telegraphed charge. Watch the attacker rather than assuming the surrounding crowd will block its route. The developer says the charge gives you time to dodge or stop it, but provides no exact wind-up time or required interrupt weapon.
The Ratling Gunner moves across the screen while unleashing bullets. Its attack creates damaging hazard zones that can box you in while ordinary Skaven continue approaching. Read the moving gunner and the available space together. This is an attack-recognition checkpoint: the source does not identify one permanently safe angle, a projectile count, or a guaranteed weapon combination that removes the threat.
3. Separate support wards from toxic ground hazards
The Bell of Doom strengthens nearby Skaven; the matching Steam article names the effect Warded. Auroch recommends destroying the bell to remove that supporting threat. Acolyte Globadiers introduce a different problem by throwing toxic globes that leave noxious clouds and can poison the player. Watch both the source of the enemy support and the ground around you; defeating a support enemy does not explain every remaining hazard.

The movement and support distinctions come from the source; the practical cues help you decide what to observe next. They are not a tested difficulty ranking. Read faction traits: Synapse and Waaagh! for pressure affecting groups, and status effects for changes affecting enemies or the player.
The weapons index keeps officially named functions separate from unverified recipes. Check the Demo guide before applying an older example to the current Demo, or use the wiki hub to find the broader source map.
